Re-Opening Schedule

The Day Has Come

We are incredibly excited to be re-opening on Monday 17th May and look forward again to seeing our members.

WE ARE BACK

From Monday 17th May we fully re-open our doors to members with reduced restrictions, we are now open our normal club hours and no longer have to close at 10pm. See below what Covid restrictions are still in place
FACE MASKS
Face masks must be worn when entering and leaving the club. You can take of your mask once seated. If you go to the toilet, or use one of the fruit machines, you must wear a mask. If you go to the smoking area, you must where a mask, once in the smoking area outside, you may remove the mask, but when returning to your table, you will need to wear your mask again.
TABLE SERVICE
Table service only for drinks. You will not be able to order drinks at the bar.
Payment will be by credit/debit card or loyalty card or cash.
Bar staff will come to your table to take your order, we will be getting extra staff in for busy times to help speed up service.
Please note that a maximum of 6 people from different families can sit at a table, no exceptions allowed.
LOYALTY SYSTEM
The loyalty card system is to be resumed as of Monday 17th May,. To remind you how it works, if you put money on your membership card, and use this to pay for your drinks, we give you £2.00 for every £40 you put on it, giving you and extra 5% off your drink prices.
Topping up your card can be made by cash or card..
POOL & DARTS
Pool and darts can now be played again, for pool, you will need to leave a deposit of £10 for the pool cues if using the clubs, and you will need to use your own chalk, the club will have a supply of chalk at 50p each if needed. Pool cues are then returned for cleaning ready for the next player. Face masks do not need to be used but social distancing still needs to be maintained where possible.
Darts can be played, again social distancing applies where possible, anyone in the team not playing darts will need to wear a mask is either standing or marking the game.
CHILDREN
Unfortunately, children or anyone under 18 wil lnot be allowed into the club until June 21st when all restrictions are expected to be lifted.
BINGO
Yes its back, starting the first Thursday we are open, that’s Thursday the 20th May we will be playing our usual games of bingo.


CRAZY JOKER

ALSO RETURNING DURING THE BREAK IN BINGO, IS THE CRAZY JOKER, AT ONLY A £1 A TICK, YOU COULD BE THE LUCKY PERSON TO DRAW THE JOKER AND WIN OVER £3,000. DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE, BE THERE THURSDAY TO SEE IF YOU ARE THE LUCKY ONE.

SHOULD YOU NOT PICK THE JOKER, YOU STILL WIN £25.

HAPPY HOUR
As a welcome back, for the first week of re-opening we are having a Happy Hour between 7pm and 8pm every night.
During this hour, all beers will be £1 off per pint, spirits will be 50p of per shot and all bottled beers will also be 50p off.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Now that we are fully open again, its time for those who have not already done so, to renew your membership. its £20 for full members and £5 for Senior members, full members will get £6 put back on there card to spend at the bar to make up for the shortfall of last year, the committee will decide what to do about this years shortfall, for when we renew in January next year.
remember, you will have 4 weeks to renew, after this time the cost rises to £30 for full members and £15 for seniors.
 
You can renew your membership on the following days for the next 4 weeks upto and including Sunday 13th June.
 
Wednesdays – 5.30pm – 7.30pm
 
Thursdays – 7pm – 8.15pm
 
Fridays – 5.30pm – 7.30pm
 
Sundays – 2pm – 4pm
AGM

IT’S NOW TIME FOR US TO START THINKING ABOUT THE AGM, THIS WILL MOST LIKELY BE ON MONDAY 12TH JULY. ONCE IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED WITH THE COMMITTEE I WILL EMAIL YOU ALL AGAIN AND POSTERS WILL GO UP FOR NOMINATIONS FOR COMMITTEE AND A CHANCE FOR YOU TO ADD ITEMS TO THE AGENDA AT LEAST 21 DAYS BEFORE THE MEETING AS PER OUR RULES.
EMAILS
Several times a year we send out an email to members and often I have members say they did not receive it, so if you have not received an email from me by the end of Sunday 16th May, please feel free to email me secretary@belmontconservativeclub.co.uk
with your membership number so that I can add you to the list.
 
You may well have given us your email before but we find that we are unbale to read what has been written down, so getting it electronically stops any mistakes.
